Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose or bread flour
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp honey or sugar
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and honey. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, olive oil, and all the seeds. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
- Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking tray or in a Dutch oven.
- Let it rest for another 30 minutes while the oven preheats to 220°C (425°F).
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and crusty.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
