INGREDIENTS
- 1 standing rib roast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp thyme
- 2 tbsp butter
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Rub the roast with olive oil and all seasonings.
- Place roast in a roasting pan bone-side down.
- Roast for 20 minutes to create a crust.
- Lower heat to 325°F (160°C) and continue cooking.
- Cook until desired doneness is reached.
- Let the roast rest for 15–20 minutes before slicing.
- Slice and serve warm with your favorite sides.

- Well-done beef should reach about 160°F internally.
