INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 1 small towel
- Optional: a few drops of lemon juice or rose water
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pour the water into a pot and bring it to a boil.
- Add the cloves and let them simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Remove the pot from heat and place it carefully on a table.
- Lean your face over the steam at a safe distance.
- Cover your head with a towel to trap the steam.
- Steam your face for 5–10 minutes while breathing deeply.
- Rinse your face with cool water and gently pat dry.
- Apply a light moisturizer after steaming.
TIPS
- Keep your eyes closed during steaming to avoid irritation.
- Do not place your face too close to the hot steam.
- Use this treatment 1–2 times a week only.
- Clove steam may help refresh the skin and open pores.
- Stop immediately if you feel burning or discomfort.
- Always test carefully if you have sensitive skin.
