INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup boiled sweet corn (crushed slightly)
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a bowl, mix crushed corn, cheese, onion, green chili, and coriander.
  2. Add cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Mix well to form a dough-like mixture.
  3. Take small portions and shape into bite-sized balls.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  5. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.
  6. Fry the bites until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove and place on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dip.

TIPS:

  • Chill the mixture for 15–20 minutes before shaping for better binding.
  • Use processed cheese for a stronger cheesy flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
  • You can also air-fry or bake for a healthier option.
