INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup boiled sweet corn (crushed slightly)
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 green chili (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a bowl, mix crushed corn, cheese, onion, green chili, and coriander.
- Add cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Mix well to form a dough-like mixture.
- Take small portions and shape into bite-sized balls.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.
- Fry the bites until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and place on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dip.
TIPS:
- Chill the mixture for 15–20 minutes before shaping for better binding.
- Use processed cheese for a stronger cheesy flavor.
- Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
