Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying

- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add egg, butter, flour, and salt. Mix into a soft dough.
- Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough and cut into doughnut shapes.
- Let the doughnuts rest for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil and fry doughnuts until golden brown on both sides.
- Cool slightly and decorate with powdered sugar or chocolate glaze.
