INGREDIENTS
- 1 fresh lemon
- 1 small piece of fresh ginger
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- A few mint leaves (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash and slice the ginger into thin pieces.
- Boil 2 cups of water in a pot.
- Add the ginger slices and simmer for 5–10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice into the water.
- Add honey or mint if desired.
