Traditional Palm Wine, Bitter Kola & Clove Mixture

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh palm wine
  • 6 bitter kola nuts, smashed
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  1. Pour the palm wine into a clean bowl or bottle.
  2. Smash the bitter kola into small pieces.
  3. Add the bitter kola and cloves into the palm wine.
  4. Stir well and allow the mixture to soak for 6–12 hours.
  5. Strain if desired before drinking.
  6. Take a small quantity once daily, preferably in the morning.
