- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat your pan over low–medium heat (no oven needed). Lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients – flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add milk and oil (or melted butter). Mix until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently shape into a round loaf (about 1-inch thick).
- Place the dough in the preheated pan. Cover with a lid.
- Cook on low heat for 8–10 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 8–10 minutes.
- Remove and let cool slightly before slicing.

- Always cook on low heat to avoid burning the outside while keeping the inside soft.
- You can add herbs, garlic powder, or shredded cheese for extra flavor.
- If the bread sounds hollow when tapped, it’s done.
- Serve warm with butter, jam, or honey.
