INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices Italian bread or sourdough bread
- 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat a skillet on medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice butter-side down in the pan.
- Add mozzarella cheese, cooked chicken, parmesan cheese, and marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning on top.
- Cover with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Grill for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Slice and serve hot with extra sauce if desired.

- Use rotisserie chicken for a quick meal.
- Add pepperoni or mushrooms for extra flavor.
