- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (fresh or pure store-bought)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional for brightening)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional for extra hydration)
Instructions

- Place the grated ginger in a clean cloth or strainer and squeeze out about 1 teaspoon of ginger juice.
- In a small bowl, mix the ginger juice with honey and aloe vera gel.
- Add lemon juice for brightness or coconut oil for deep moisture (optional).
- Stir until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
- Clean your face with warm water to open pores.
- Apply a thin, even layer of the ginger mixture to your face—avoiding the eyes.
- Leave it on for 10–15 minutes. Ginger may feel warm; this is normal.
- Rinse off gently with cool water.
- Apply your regular moisturizer afterward to lock in softness.
- Use 2–3 times per week for best results.
Notes
- Always do a patch test on your wrist first—ginger can be strong for sensitive skin.
- If any burning or irritation occurs, rinse immediately and discontinue.
- For dry skin: Replace lemon juice with a few drops of olive or jojoba oil.
- For oily skin: Add 1–2 drops of tea tree oil to help control excess oil.
- Store leftover mixture in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Results improve with consistent use, along with proper hydration, sunscreen, and good skincare habits.
