Servings: 1–2 face masks

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger juice (grated ginger squeezed through cloth or strainer)
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (fresh or pure store-bought)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional for brightening)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional for extra hydration)

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate a small piece of fresh ginger.
  2. Place the grated ginger in a clean cloth or strainer and squeeze out about 1 teaspoon of ginger juice.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the ginger juice with honey and aloe vera gel.
  4. Add lemon juice for brightness or coconut oil for deep moisture (optional).
  5. Stir until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
  6. Clean your face with warm water to open pores.
  7. Apply a thin, even layer of the ginger mixture to your face—avoiding the eyes.
  8. Leave it on for 10–15 minutes. Ginger may feel warm; this is normal.
  9. Rinse off gently with cool water.
  10. Apply your regular moisturizer afterward to lock in softness.
  11. Use 2–3 times per week for best results.

Notes

  • Always do a patch test on your wrist first—ginger can be strong for sensitive skin.
  • If any burning or irritation occurs, rinse immediately and discontinue.
  • For dry skin: Replace lemon juice with a few drops of olive or jojoba oil.
  • For oily skin: Add 1–2 drops of tea tree oil to help control excess oil.
  • Store leftover mixture in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Results improve with consistent use, along with proper hydration, sunscreen, and good skincare habits.
