Visitors from 52 countries can also benefit from visas on arrival at Kuwait’s airports, further enhancing accessibility to the country.

Under the revised rules, fines for violations can reach up to KD 2,000, and penalties escalate for delayed reporting of events such as births. For example, failure to report a newborn child used to incur a fine of KD 2 per day, capped at KD 600. Now, the fine starts at KD 2 per day for the first month, increases to KD 4 per day in the second month, and continues to rise for any delays exceeding four months. Domestic labor-related violations are still capped at KD 600.
