Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fresh aloe vera gel (washed and cleaned)

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional for flavor)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut an aloe vera leaf and remove the outer green skin.
  2. Scoop out the clear gel and rinse it well to remove bitterness.
  3. Add the aloe gel to a blender with water.
  4. Blend for 10–15 seconds until smooth.
  5. If using a cinnamon stick, simmer it in 1–2 tablespoons of hot water for 2 minutes to release flavor.
  6. Add cinnamon (powder or cinnamon water) into the blended aloe mixture.
  7. Stir in honey or lemon juice if desired.
  8. Pour into a glass over ice for a cool drink or enjoy at room temperature.
